On August 3, 2024, Anthony Williams Jr., a 22-year-old resident of East Cleveland, Ohio, was fatally shot in a violent incident that occurred around 2:50 a.m. in the 1000 block of East 71st Street. The Cleveland police responded to reports of a large fight in the area and subsequently received updates indicating that two individuals had been shot.
