Derrice Alexander Jr., a 2-year-old boy from Cleveland, OH, tragically lost his life on June 10, 2014. The incident occurred at a CMHA housing complex located at West 28th and Division in Cleveland. Derrice Alexander Jr. was shot by his father, Derrice Alexander Sr., during an argument with the child's mother. The bullet struck the toddler inside the apartment, and despite being rushed to Lutheran Hospital, he could not be saved.
