On August 16, 2024, 18-year-old Liam Furian Cedric Bouldrey of Defiance, Ohio, was found deceased under the Hopkins Street Bridge near Auglaize Road. Responding to reports of a body around 10 p.m., Defiance Police officers discovered Bouldrey with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
