Bryan Lee Gillum, aged 33, was killed on August 15, 2009, in Dayton, Ohio, in what police believe was a drug-related robbery. According to authorities, Gillum had driven with two friends from Xenia to Dayton to buy drugs when the incident occurred. Witnesses reported that a gunman, driving a 1998 or 1999 brown Pontiac Grand Prix, approached Gillum, shot him in the leg, and then fled the scene.
