Jovante C. Banks, a 28-year-old resident of Lyndhurst, Ohio, was shot and killed on October 6, 2024, in Cleveland. The incident occurred in the 10700 block of St. Clair Avenue, where Banks suffered a fatal gunshot wound. Following the shooting, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner confirmed his identity shortly after the incident.
