On February 7, 2019, Samuel Nichouls, a 17-year-old African American male from Cleveland, OH, was tragically shot multiple times in the head and torso at a home on East 114th Street. Responders pronounced him dead at the scene, with at least a dozen bullet casings found around his body. The incident occurred in the afternoon, and neighbors reported hearing gunfire before discovering Nichouls in the driveway.
Cleveland police responded to the scene and launched an investigation, but no suspect information was immediately available. The Homicide Unit and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office were involved in the investigation, which remains open. Despite extensive efforts, no arrests have been made, and the case has not led to any significant litigation or conclusive findings regarding the perpetrator.
