Carlos Rodrigo Amador-Funez, a 21-year-old resident of Baltimore, Maryland, tragically lost his life following a violent altercation on August 22, 2021. The incident occurred in the 3100 block of Pulaski Highway, located in the Ellwood Park and Monument neighborhood. According to reports, Amador-Funez was involved in a dispute with Lamar Williams, a 30-year-old man. During the confrontation, Williams allegedly pulled out a gun and shot Amador-Funez.
