On June 4, 2023, a tragic incident occurred at a house party in northeast Albuquerque, New Mexico, resulting in the death of 18-year-old Marcos Perez along with two other young men. The shooting took place at a home on the 4400 block of Hilton Avenue, N.E., where Albuquerque Police Department (APD) officers were dispatched around 1 a.m. after receiving multiple calls from neighbors and people inside the residence.
