On a summer evening in Hobbs, New Mexico, the life of 28-year-old Jamaal Wingfield was tragically cut short. On June 10, 2023, officers from the Hobbs Police Department were dispatched to the Four Seasons Apartments following a report of a person having been shot. Upon their arrival, they discovered Wingfield suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency medical services were present at the scene but were unable to find any signs of life.
