Gregory Tyrell Brooks, a 28-year-old resident of Hobbs, New Mexico, tragically lost his life on the night of April 8, 2024. Just days after celebrating his 28th birthday, Brooks was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the 1000 block of South Linam Street. The Hobbs Police Department responded to the scene at approximately 10:50 p.m. and transported him to Covenant Health Hobbs Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
