In Santa Fe, New Mexico, a tragic sequence of events unfolded, culminating in the death of 50-year-old Carmen Navarrete. On the evening of Monday, November 13, 2023, Navarrete and her 15-year-old son, Axel Gonzalez, were fatally shot at their residence near West Alameda.
