On November 7, 2013, Jeanette 'Jen' Lisa Anaya, a 39-year-old Hispanic/Latino woman, lost her life in a tragic incident involving the New Mexico State Police in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The events leading to her death began with a high-speed chase that occurred just after 1 a.m. in a residential neighborhood.
