On October 21, 2021, during the filming of the Western movie 'Rust' near Santa Fe, New Mexico, cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, aged 42, tragically lost her life. The incident occurred when actor Alec Baldwin discharged a prop firearm, a Pietta. 45 Colt revolver, which unexpectedly contained a live round.
