On February 29, 2024, Marvin Riley, a 37-year-old resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, was fatally shot at the Embudo Trailhead, located at 13921 Indian School Rd., N.E. Riley was sitting in his car, watching the sunset from the parking lot of the popular hiking trail when the incident occurred.
