On a Tuesday afternoon in Albuquerque, New Mexico, a man in his 70s named Francisco Sandoval was driving his silver car near Lead Avenue and 6th Street. It was around noon on August 29, 2023, when a suspected road rage incident ended in gunfire. Sandoval was fatally shot while in his vehicle, which then collided with a sign at a nearby apartment complex.
