Murdered

On August 29, 2023, Francisco Sandoval, a man in his 70s and a member of Albuquerque's local car community, was fatally shot in what authorities suspect was a road rage incident. The shooting occurred near Lead Avenue and 6th Street in downtown Albuquerque around noon. Sandoval was found in his silver car, which had collided with a sign at a nearby apartment complex. He was transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
