In Albuquerque, New Mexico, on the evening of March 4, 2024, a burst of gunfire in an alleyway near Central Avenue and Louisiana Boulevard shattered the night, leaving 34-year-old Jacob Rivera, a Caucasian male, with fatal injuries. Rivera was in the company of a woman at the time, and both were reportedly smoking Fentanyl when the shooting erupted. The woman sustained a gunshot wound to her leg but survived the violent encounter.
