On June 23, 2020, 31-year-old Johnny Herron Fajardo Jr., originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, was found shot to death near Barelas and Cromwell in southwest Albuquerque. The Albuquerque Police Department responded to the scene around 4:15 p.m.
