On June 23, 2020, 31-year-old Johnny Herron Fajardo Jr., originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, was found shot to death near Barelas and Cromwell in southwest Albuquerque. The Albuquerque Police Department responded to the scene around 4:15 p.m.

Johnny was a 2004 graduate of Rio Grande High School and had relocated to Everett, Washington. He was an aspiring barber, preparing to receive his license from Paroba College of Esthetics and Barbering. Known for his culinary skills, he worked ...
