Virginia Montoya, a 78-year-old woman from Clovis, New Mexico, tragically lost her life on October 9, 2024, in a shocking incident that occurred at her home. The elderly woman was shot after answering the front door of her residence in the 1300 block of Traver Street. According to reports, Montoya's 80-year-old husband called 911 around 7 pm, reporting that his wife had been shot.
