On October 20, 2024, 46-year-old Paula Serda and her boyfriend, 44-year-old Michael Martinez, were fatally shot near the intersection of Coors Boulevard NW and Quail Road in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The incident occurred while they were driving and is being investigated as a possible road rage case. At the scene, one victim was found deceased, and the other succumbed to injuries after being transported to the hospital.
