Mark Deandre Grant III, a 29-year-old man from Las Vegas, Nevada, tragically lost his life on February 20, 2023, in a shooting incident that occurred in a drainage canal near Arville Street and Harmon Avenue. Grant, who had been living in the drainage tunnel with his girlfriend and two others for approximately seven and a half months, was found unresponsive by police at around 2:40 a.m. after they received a report of an unresponsive man.
