On June 14, 2023, a promising young life was tragically cut short in North Las Vegas, Nevada. Ariez Eldridge, a 22-year-old Black / African American woman, was killed in a devastating act of violence that unfolded in a residence on the 2100 block of Las Vegas Boulevard North. The Clark County coroner's office later confirmed that she died from multiple gunshot wounds. The incident, which has been ruled a murder-suicide, also resulted in the death of her 18-year-old boyfriend, Gregory Ford.
