On September 2, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in northeast Las Vegas, resulting in the death of 15-year-old James Lobue Jr. The shooting took place around 4:42 pm in an apartment on Kepler Drive, near Lake Mead and Hollywood boulevards. When police officers arrived at the scene, they found James suffering from a gunshot wound in an upstairs apartment of a condominium complex.
