On January 13, 2023, 42-year-old Kevin Devon Wallace Sr. was fatally shot in a parking lot on the 6900 block of Brooklyn Boulevard in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. The incident occurred shortly after 3 p.m., and responding officers found Wallace with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was transported to North Memorial Health in Robbinsdale, where he succumbed to his injuries at 5:45 p.m.
