In the early hours of February 18, 2024, Adam Finseth, a 40-year-old White/Caucasian male firefighter and paramedic, was fatally shot while responding to a domestic disturbance call in Burnsville, Minnesota. The call, which came in around 1:50 a.m., reported an armed man barricaded inside a home with family members, including seven children. The man was later identified as 38-year-old Shannon Gooden.
