Late on Monday night, February 9, 2026, a burst of violence shattered the quiet inside the Glen Apartments in Burnsville, Minnesota, where gunfire struck Charles Moore Jr., a 14-year-old Black boy. Police were called to the building’s lobby area just after 10:30 p.m., and when they arrived they found him suffering from gunshot wounds, fighting to hold on as first responders rushed to save him.
