On March 4, 2024, 45-year-old David Joseph Nanovic was found deceased in the home of his girlfriend, 45-year-old Jennifer Lynn Lieber, in Credit River, Minnesota. Authorities responded to a welfare check at Lieber's residence after her ex-husband reported concerning behavior. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Nanovic's body at the bottom of a staircase, with a handgun nearby. Lieber was arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
