On July 7, 2024, at approximately 9:30 p.m., 17-year-old Lonnaya I'zanay Warren-Loyd was found with multiple gunshot wounds in a vehicle near Fremont and Dowling Avenues in north Minneapolis. She was transported to North Memorial Health Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries five days later, on July 12.

A 30-year-old man also arrived at the hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, claiming to have been involved in the same incident. Preliminary investigations suggest tha ...
