On November 7, 2024, Erin Potratz, 47, and her 15-year-old son, Jacob Nephew, were found deceased in their Duluth, Minnesota, home from apparent gunshot wounds. The tragic incident was part of a series of events that culminated in a murder-suicide involving Erin's former partner, Anthony Nephew, 46.
