On January 13, 2023, 16-year-old Seaquori Xiare Smith of Wichita, Kansas, was fatally shot in a residence located in the 2200 block of South Millwood Street. Responding officers found Smith with a single gunshot wound to his upper body; he was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
