In the quiet community of Jarreau, Louisiana, a tragedy unfolded that ended the life of 80-year-old Catherine Roy, a female resident of the town. On the evening of Wednesday, February 8, 2023, she was fatally shot in her own home on Pecan Lane. The incident left the community in shock and resulted in the swift arrest of her husband.
