On a Tuesday evening in Shreveport, Louisiana, the life of 38-year-old Roy Delane Crew Jr. was cut short by gunfire. The fatal shooting occurred on February 21, 2023, in the 2100 block of Miller Street, marking the city's twelfth homicide of the year. When Shreveport Police Department officers responded to reports of the shooting at approximately 5:13 p.m., they discovered a grim scene.
