Takad Lynch, 15, a male from New Orleans, was killed in a shooting just after midnight on June 17, 2023, in the city’s Third District. Police were sent to the 2600 block of Elder Street near Franklin Avenue after a report of a person shot, and they found him inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed by EMS to a local hospital, but he did not survive.
