Christopher Vidalier, a 32-year-old resident of Kaplan, Louisiana, lost his life to gun violence on August 7, 2023. He passed away at Ochsner Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital following the incident.

The circumstances surrounding his death led to a criminal investigation, which resulted in the arrest and subsequent trial of LaQuiondra St. Julien, a 25-year-old woman from Kaplan.
