Devontre “Dee” Jackson, a 30-year-old resident of Quitman, Louisiana, was fatally shot in the early morning hours of Saturday, October 7, 2023. The incident occurred on U.S. Highway 167, between North Hodge and Quitman, when Jackson was driving his vehicle. At approximately 1:35 a.m., a 911 call was received reporting the shooting.
