In the early morning hours of August 16, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana, the life of 30-year-old Kenneth Simms Jr. was tragically cut short. The male victim was killed by gun violence in what has been described as a homicide. The incident that led to his death took place in the 1200 block of Lesseps Street in the St. Claude neighborhood.
