In the winter of 2024, a life was tragically cut short in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Kwame Patrick Paul, a 34-year-old Black male, was found deceased on Saturday, January 13, 2024. The grim discovery was made inside a hotel room at the LaQuinta Inn & Suites located on Rieger Road, prompting an immediate investigation by the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office. Deputies responded to the scene around 11 a.m. after receiving a report of a deceased person.
