In the early morning hours of January 14, 2024, the life of 26-year-old Hortencia Demming was tragically cut short in Shreveport, Louisiana. At approximately 2:00 a.m., Shreveport Police officers were dispatched to a vacant lot in the 800 block of Wall Street following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Demming suffering from at least one gunshot wound to her upper torso. She was swiftly transported to a local hospital for medical attention, but tragically, she succumbed ...
