In the Gentilly neighborhood of New Orleans, a tragic event unfolded on the afternoon of Monday, January 29, 2024, ending the life of 14-year-old Dajuan Wells. The young male was fatally shot near the intersection of Chef Menteur Highway and Louisa Drive.

Emergency services responded to the scene, but the teenager succumbed to his injuries. The New Orleans Police Department has since launched an investigation into the shooting. While video footage reportedly captured the moments after the ...
