In the early hours of February 16, 2024, Jeremy Norrman, a 29-year-old male, arrived at West Jefferson Medical Center in Marrero, Louisiana, with a gunshot wound to his leg. Despite the efforts of medical staff, Norrman succumbed to his injury and died. The incident that led to his death was investigated by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office as a homicide.
