On Easter morning, March 31, 2024, the life of 35-year-old Edward Brooks, a male resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire. The fatal shooting occurred around 11:15 a.m. on Cate Avenue, situated in a neighborhood just off Marque Ann Drive. Brooks was urgently transported to a nearby hospital, but his injuries proved to be too severe, and he was pronounced dead.
