Troydell Simmons, a 34-year-old resident of Carencro, Louisiana, died on May 30, 2024, as a result of a violent altercation. The incident occurred in the 400 block of Louveteau Road, where Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office (LPSO) deputies responded to a call around 10:15 p.m.
