On November 9, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred in Carencro Park, Carencro, Louisiana, resulting in the deaths of two 18-year-old men, Eric Wayne Nunnery and Tyrell Earnest Harris. The incident was reported around 2 p.m. on a Thursday afternoon, when Carencro Police were called to the scene and found the two victims inside a vehicle. Both men had been shot several times.
