Death by Force

Jason Alexander Sumner, a 29-year-old resident of Lacombe, Louisiana, died on October 9, 2024, due to a fatal gunshot wound. The incident occurred shortly before 10 p.m. when St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office (STPSO) deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 26000 block of East Jackson Street in Lacombe. Upon arrival, they found Sumner lying near the porch of the residence with an apparent gunshot wound. Despite attempts at life-saving measures, Sumner succumbed to his injuries.
