Yelson Hernan Garcia Banegas, a 25-year-old male, tragically lost his life on December 28, 2024, in Lacombe, Louisiana. His body was discovered during a routine patrol by deputies on Lake Road, near the boat launch. Upon arrival, authorities found him lying in the roadway, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The St. Tammany Parish Coroner's Office later confirmed his identity and took custody of his remains for further examination.
