In the late hours of a Thursday evening in South Boston, the life of a young Black/African American man, Clevan Cleve Richards, 22, was tragically cut short. On April 5, 2018, Richards, a resident of Randolph, was sitting in a car on Costello Circle when he was fatally shot. The Boston Police Department received a call about the shooting at approximately 11:45 p.m. and dispatched officers to the scene.
