In the small city of Crowley, Louisiana, a late evening on Friday, October 18, 2024, was shattered by violence that claimed the life of 41-year-old Travis Trentel Thorne. The male victim was found lying on the ground in the 600 block of Dejean Circle around 9:30 p.m. by Crowley police officers who were responding to reports of a shooting.
