On a Sunday in New Orleans, Frederick Douglas Magee Jr.'s life was tragically cut short at the age of 24. A resident of the city, he had graduated from Eleanor McMain Secondary School in 2018 and had gone on to serve as a proud member of the United States National Guard. His life was marked by a commitment to both his community and his country, a path that was violently interrupted.
