Murdered

On May 22, 2023, a homicide occurred in the 700 block of Florence Avenue in Lexington, Kentucky. At 2:09 a.m., officers from the Lexington Police Department were dispatched to the scene in response to a shooting. Upon arrival, they found a male victim, later identified as 19-year-old Jalen Henderson, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite efforts, Henderson was pronounced deceased at the scene at 3:15 a.m..
