In the late summer of 2023, the community of Hazard, Kentucky, was shaken by the violent death of one of its own. Ryan Edward Turner, a 37-year-old Caucasian male, was found deceased on August 27, 2023. The discovery was made on Turner Ridge Road, where his body was located with what appeared to be a fatal gunshot wound.
