Patrick Eugene Sand, a 51-year-old resident of Covington, Kentucky, died on October 31, 2023, as a result of a shooting incident. The incident occurred on Church Street in Covington, specifically between 40th and 41st streets, at approximately 3:30 p.m. on the same day.

During the shooting, Patrick E. Sand was declared dead at the scene. A female victim was also injured in the incident and was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment.
